This Is Not Superstition
It’s a new mix. This one had been gestating, perhaps even simmering, for a couple months. Currently though, the world around me, oblivious to my current mood, remains gray and damp and frequently hard to navigate. Weather! These songs felt perfect, so I dusted this fucker off, gave it a happy ending. Contained within are a few of my absolute favorite songs of the past 20 years (1, 3, 7, 13-15), Stones and Mac deep cuts, and maybe the best Big Star song ever. Moody, druggy, bummeresque. Eat up.
